Who Am I?
I am an internal medicine physician/hospitalist, and own ExtraMD PC. ExtraMD provides “fill in” physicians to practices that are busy or have a physician that is out of the office. In addition, I am on a mission to educate physicians on the business of medicine, and the management of life as a physician. I want physicians to understand that they must keep the doors open to see patients, and hope that I can help educate physicians on how to do this. I also want to help physicians to become leaders in the field of health care reform.
I live and practice in the Denver Metro area. I attended the University Of Colorado School of Medicine, and did my residency in internal medicine at the “U” as well. I attended the University of Washington School of Business MBA program for one year before deciding my passion truly was medicine.
I have a husband (NOT in medicine!) and a daughter who loves all sports and wants to be a vet. I spend an inordinate time walking/running/biking my dog. I am working on my Face book page, and am on Linkedin. Contact me at infodotextramddotcom.
